Our client is looking for a Senior Subcontracts Specialist for a 6 month contract position, located in Aberdeen (Hybrid Working)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Roles and responsibilities included but not limited to:

• Providing first tier supervision, support and guidance to Subcontracts Specialists and Graduates including peer review of internal and external contract documentation
• Advising project and tender teams on sourcing and procurement strategies
• Developing comprehensive RFQ/ITT documents
• Undertaking commercial/contractual evaluations
• Negotiating, drafting and executing contractual agreements
• Ensuring compliance with internal subcontracting policies, processes and procedures
• Engaging with internal stakeholders and promoting cross department engagement
• Maintain strong relationships with current and potential Suppliers

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree qualification in Law, Business or Quantity Surveying
• Relevant experience gained in a subsea/oil and gas contract/subcontract environment
• Experience of Supplier Performance Management, LOGIC contracting principles and ERP Systems
• Effective team player, with strong mentoring skills and the ability to support and develop the team
• Ability to confidently negotiate contractual/commercial terms
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with good command of English language
