Our client is looking for a Maintenance Engineer for a permanent position, located in Aberdeen (Hybrid Working)

ROLE:

Responsible for preparation of all elements of maintenance preparation for Shutdown, Campaign and Modifications.
Responsible for preparing preventative, corrective and extra ordinary maintenance including work orders and workpacks, considering time, resources, materials, equipment/tools in line with HSE policies and procedures.
Accountable for maintaining interfaces with internal and external stakeholders, including coordination of internal functions, and communications with venture owners, Hub management teams, regulatory bodies, and supply chain partners.
Responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing processes and procedures within area of responsibility.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Contributes to the asset integrity barrier model status improvement and developing strategy for achieving safety critical backlog to zero.
  • Scope accepted work orders for shutdowns, campaigns, and modifications. Identify and sequence tasks, materials, labour, services & tools. Update all Maximo elements accordingly.
  • Liaise with offshore teams as necessary to prepare all work elements, inclusive of materials procurement and repairs. Raise purchase requisitions as required.
  • Supports the delivery and continuous improvement of work preparation and scheduling within the M&E group.
  • Ensures all vendor scopes for shutdown, campaign and modifications are managed and delivered in alignment with M&E processes.
  • Implements / develops efforts to reduce maintenance backlog and enhance offshore productivity.
  • Leads to ensure that the agreed processes and methodologies are being adhered to and that data integrity is maintained.
  • Provides input to reviews and implementation of sparing, repairs and obsolescence activities.
  • Accountable for ensuring materials ordering process for Shutdown, campaign and modifications is adhered to.
  • Supports the connectivity between the asset, shutdown, campaign, and modifications teams to ensure optimal maintenance execution is prepared for each function.
  • Supports the delivery of the 12-week integrated maintenance plan, encompassing all campaign and modifications scopes.
  • Mobilise offshore as required.
  • Develop required assurance and governance documentation ahead of Phase Gate/MOC reviews, and resolve actions as required.
  • Interface with key vendors e.g. valves, vessel entry, leak testing, ensuring that deliverables are developed in a timely manner.
  • Drive preparation of permits, lift plans, scaffolding and rigging requests.
  • Any other reasonable duty as per instruction by your manager


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Significant and relevant experience in maintenance management
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop an effective working relationship with key stakeholders.
  • Significant experience working directly with operations personnel and procedures, including initiation and management of offshore works. Specific asset experience highly preferred.
  • Self-driven and results oriented. Active and visible role model with strong collaboration, communication and teamworking skills.
  • Thorough understanding of UKCS Regulatory, Industry Standards and Recommended Practice requirements in relation to design, manufacture & execution of relevant works.
  • Valid certificates to travel offshore
  • Awareness of HSEQ Policies and Business Management System (BMS)
  • Awareness of Values & Business Principles
