Our client in looking for a Personnel Logistics Coordinator for a contract position, located in Aberdeen.

Role:

Overview:

  • Logistics Focal point for all offshore employees, internal project teams and client contacts
  • Accountable for efficient coordination of mobilisation and demobilisation

Financial:

  • Ensure compliance to radius where applicable
  • Ensure most cost-effective method of travel is progressed

Responsibilities:

  • Select competent and available personnel from the offshore pool and assign to projects
  • Build relationships with offshore personnel to ensure continued utilisation and commitment
  • Provide full assignment details to staff and temporary workers including; mobilisation and check-in details, pre-job/assessment requirements, expected duration of assignment
  • Advise Resources of any requirements for additional personnel providing full details of work scope and any training and competence requirements
  • Ensure all contact, applicant, job and placement records are accurate and complete within own area of responsibility in line with company procedure
  • Carry out daily tracking of offshore pool to ensure visibility of days worked and any periods of unavailability
  • Ensure staff utilisation is maximised
  • Receipt and action of mobilisation forms ensuring relevant planners are updated
  • Manage mobilisation requests via client online system where required
  • Arrange travel and accommodation if required.  Ensure any requests out-with radius are approved by the appropriate manager
  • Raise POs where necessary and manage process through to close out
  • Provide assistance to other members of the Resourcing Team where required
  • Undertake out of hours on-call duties on a rotational basis

Requirements:

Essential

  • Educated to Higher Level
  • Conduct self in a professional manner to minimise conflict
  • Able to identify and solve non-routine problems in own or related discipline
  • Manage personal time and deals effectively with conflicting demands and priorities
  • Demonstrates a calm and systematic approach
  • Develops collaborative relationships with key contacts essential to get the job done

Preferred

  • Educated to Further Education level
  • Experience in a similar role
  • Anticipates obstacles and acts to overcome them before they arise
  • Acts quickly and decisively in a crisis
  • Understands the role of the team and how to contribute to the success of the business unit
